Sarah is a versatile composer, audio designer, and orchestrator for film, animation, video games, and live theatre. Rooted in her classic piano background and later immersive study of jazz, her music is a captivating fusion of lush orchestral, jazz ensemble, and folk tunes.
Her collaborations with filmmakers, animators, and game developers from esteemed institutions such as Tisch, SVA, and FIT have showcased her music in various festivals, earning multiple awards and finalist positions at NFFTY, First Run Film Festival, Fusion Film Festival, and more. Additionally, she has worked on commercial projects for Tencent and Himalaya. Her recent credits include contributing additional music and orchestration to the hit TV series "Young Babylon", directed by Yuxian Lin.
Beyond her passion for composing, Sarah has worked as a sample library producer, recording and producing traditional Chinese instruments like the Erhu and Guzheng. She has also served as the executive music creative director and lead composer for the annual GALA show at Lincoln Center from 2023 to 2024. As a sound designer, she has contributed to multiple award-winning games, animations, drama, and music theatres.
Recently graduated from NYU with a Bachelor's Degree in Screen Scoring, Sarah is currently based in Los Angeles.
